Director, Bruno Reddy
Bruno Reddy is a qualified maths teacher with a drive to lead school improvement through education for sustainable development. In addition to his years in the classroom, he has worked for 2 years as a Sustainability Consultant for engineering firm, Arup.
Bruno is a panel member for the Sustainable Development Commission, an Associate of the Sustainable Development Foundation, a Community Champion, a member of the Geographical Association, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Chair of the Board of Teach First Ambassadors.
Borne of his experiences as a time-poor teacher and from the recognition that a sustainable future was looking less likely, Bruno founded Mr Greeny, a social enterprise dedicated to providing a point of access to all things related to greener schools and lifestyles.
"I know what it's like as a teacher - you care about the wellbeing of society and the planet and you see the golden opportunity in front of you to educate tomorrow's adults; yet there are so many obstacles. You're often working to your limit as a classroom practitioner or there's such a wealth of information that you're not sure where to begin.
"I think that where Mr Greeny serves schools and teachers well is in bridging the gap between genuine, green intentions and reality. We offer value-adding services, advice and interventions for busy, motivated teachers."
